7/22/10: Kyron Still Missing — Criminal Investigation Continues —

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, a participating agency in the Northwest RCFL (NWRCFL), is continuing the criminal investigation into the disappearance of 7-year old Kyron Horman. The NWRCFL is providing digital forensics expertise to investigators, as more allegations against Kyron’s stepmother surface—authorities have not named her a suspect or person of interest in the case. A $25,000 reward for information leading to Kyron is being offered—to report a tip, call 503-261-2847. Learn more.

The NWRCFL officially opened for business on September 9, 2005. Any law enforcement agency with jurisdiction in Oregon and Southwest Washington may now submit requests for assistance and training simply by using this Web site or contacting us directly.

What is an RCFL?

An RCFL is a one-stop, full service forensics laboratory and training center devoted entirely to the examination of digital evidence in support of criminal investigations, such as, but not limited to—

• Terrorism
• Child Pornography
• Crimes of violence
• The Theft or Destruction of Intellectual Property
• Internet Crimes
• Fraud.
